HostWelcome to our monthly Repair Café, where you can bring broken things and our volunteers will help mend them for free.
HostLet me explain the five stations. By the window is the electrical bench, which fixes electrical items like lamps and toasters.
HostNext to it is the sewing corner. If you've a torn jacket or a loose hem, this station mends clothes and fabric.
HostOut in the yard is the bike stand, where our mechanic repairs bicycles of every kind.
HostBy the door is the sharpening table, the busiest of all — it sharpens tools and knives in minutes.
HostAnd at the back is the woodwork area, which restores wooden furniture, from wobbly chairs to old drawers.
