GuideWelcome, teachers and pupils, to the Discovery Museum, built for learning by doing. Let me explain the five zones.
GuideThe Handling Zone is everyone's favourite. Under supervision, children can touch and handle real objects from long ago.
GuideNext, the Cinema Zone. In a comfy dark room, classes watch a short film about the past, narrated for young ears.
GuideThe Dressing Zone is full of laughter. Here children dress up in historical costumes and become someone from history.
GuideThe Lab Zone is for the curious. With a guide, each child can try a hands-on science experiment, safely of course.
GuideAnd the Maker Zone is the messy one, where pupils draw and make their own craft to take home.
