SupervisorSo, Mei, your project gathers many sources of climate evidence. What's the main argument you're building?
MeiThat no single source is enough on its own. My argument is that only by combining many records can we trust the picture.
SupervisorA strong line. What was the biggest difficulty in handling the data?
MeiThe gaps. Older records simply skip years, so I spent ages deciding how to fill in the missing values fairly.
SupervisorAnd did anything in the results genuinely surprise you?
MeiYes — how closely the different sources agreed. I'd expected them to clash, but they told almost the same story.
