TutorLet us discuss the start-up case study you have been reviewing. Emma, what did you identify as the main early challenges?
EmmaWe found that the biggest mistake was rushing into development without properly understanding who their customers were and what they needed.
JakeAgreed. And when they did eventually survey users, the feedback completely changed the product direction for the better.
EmmaThere was also a legal issue — they launched without registering their trademark, which caused problems with a competitor.
TutorGood points. Jake, what about the founding team?
JakeThe founders were both technical people. They lacked someone with business and sales experience, which held them back early on.
