TutorLet us review your social enterprise project. You both designed a hypothetical social enterprise. Adam, what did your concept do?
AdamWe designed a social enterprise providing affordable cooking classes to unemployed adults, with all surplus revenue reinvested into subsidised meal kits for low-income families.
ElenaOur challenge was defining success. We set a double bottom line — financial sustainability and social impact — but measuring social impact proved far harder than measuring revenue.
TutorThat is a common issue. What indicators did you use?
AdamWe tracked participant confidence scores, employment outcomes, and number of families receiving subsidised kits per month. But the data only told part of the story.
