GuideWelcome to the Riverside Recycling Centre. Let me show you the five containers so nothing ends up in the wrong one.

GuideThe blue skip, nearest the gate, is only for paper and cardboard, so please flatten your boxes first.

GuideNext to it, the green bin takes garden waste and leaves, which we turn into soil for local parks.

GuideThe grey container is just for metal tins and cans — rinse them, but you needn't remove the labels.

GuideOver by the shed, the brown crate is for old clothes and shoes, which a charity collects each week.

GuideAnd the red unit, clearly marked, is the only place for used electrical items, because of the wiring inside.
