TutorRight — you have both reviewed the business plan for this hypothetical food delivery start-up. What are your overall impressions, Chloe?
ChloeThe idea is interesting but the plan does not show enough evidence that real customers actually want the product. There is no survey data, no pilot results — just an assumption that the market exists.
JoeI agreed with that concern. But I also noticed the financial section is quite weak. The projections assume revenue growth of thirty per cent per month for the first year, which is highly unrealistic.
TutorWhat about competition? Did the plan address that?
ChloeNot effectively. The plan says they will be cheaper and faster than existing services, but gives no explanation of how they will actually achieve that operationally.
JoeThere is also no mention of how they plan to protect their recipe database or any proprietary data. That is a significant oversight in a food-tech business.
