LecturerToday I'll explain how to design slides that support your talk instead of competing with it.
LecturerThe first rule is one idea per slide. A slide trying to do five jobs does none of them well.
LecturerCut the text hard. Your slide is a signpost, not a script, so the audience should read it in seconds.
LecturerPictures beat paragraphs. A single strong image often says more than a block of words.
LecturerMind the size. Any text smaller than twenty-four point is simply too small from the back of a room.
LecturerBe careful with colour. Dark text on a light background is the easiest to read.
