GuideWelcome to Hollow Tree Wildlife Rescue. Most of our work is hidden away, so let me explain the five buildings.
GuideThe Bird Hospital, on your left, is our busiest. This is where injured birds are treated, often after hitting windows.
GuideNext, the Nursery. It's kept warm and quiet because young animals are hand-fed there, sometimes every two hours.
GuideThe Field Hut looks plain, but it's clever. From here, released animals are tracked using tiny radio tags.
GuideThe Learning Barn is the big red one. On weekdays, school groups learn about nature inside, with real specimens.
GuideAnd the Winter Shed, low and dark, is where sick hedgehogs spend the winter safely until spring.
