TutorLet us debrief on the group interview you both observed last week. Sasha, what did you notice about the successful candidates?
SashaThe ones who got through all seemed to have very specific, detailed examples ready. They answered using stories — a clear situation, what they did, and the outcome.
LukeThat is the STAR method again. What I noticed was that the weaker candidates gave exactly the same generic answers regardless of what they were asked. They did not connect to the actual job.
TutorGood. Did any candidates clearly stand out during the nerves stage — either positively or negatively?
SashaOne candidate was visibly shaking and lost their train of thought twice. Another walked in smiling, made eye contact, and spoke steadily. That second person performed much better overall.
TutorAnd what about knowledge of the company?
