GuideGood afternoon everyone, and welcome to Greenfield Park. Before we set off, let me explain the new layout using the map in your leaflet.
GuideWe're standing at the main entrance, at the bottom of the map. If you walk straight up the central path, the first thing on your left, in the top corner near the lake, is the new café.
GuideDirectly opposite the café, across the central path in the top right-hand corner, you'll find the children's playground — it used to be by the entrance, but it was moved away from the road for safety.
GuideHalfway down the left-hand side, just below the café, is the rose garden. It's at its best in June, so do take a look today.
GuideIn the very centre of the park, where the two paths cross, there's the bandstand. Free concerts take place there every Sunday afternoon in summer.
GuideOn the right-hand edge, halfway down between the playground and the south gate, the old greenhouse has been converted into a butterfly house — well worth the small entry fee.
